This would improve the retention of the lesson and add to the number of those who would find science difficult to accept. This is presuming that the objective is to get more people who believe in the unprovable and with no urge to prove a dilemma one way or the other.
This might make religion more safe from critical thought, but the price is too high for me.

1. Maybe ask a related question

"Assuming ID is tenable please discuss the outcomes of the design process and, in particular, comment on the design process with reference to Down's Syndrome and other outcomes. Your answers should include justifications for such outcomes".

<edit> removed possibility of academic bias

2. Uhh....is this a trick question?
You see, I'm pretty sure the answer to your question is "No." because ID is not science. It's not based on scientific fact. It wasn't formed from the scientific method.

If we put ID on science tests, then maybe they should have math questions in literature class.

7. Just to clear it up I think testing for ID would be stupid, but so is
talking about it in science class as a alternative to evolution. I thought bringing up the next step in the evolution of ID in school might show the unintended consequences.

3. "...would improve the retention of the lesson" ?
Maybe till test day.

I think the result would be a teacher strike and that test day would never come to pass.

4. Abortion prolife trojan horse thats where id is headed
I am telling you people now is the time to go on the offense against the right. We can no longer sit back and play offense with the right cooks. This applies to every left winger of any belief or non belief system. Complaceny against right wing religious policies is no longer an option. It's time to start picketing and protesting the phelps dobson and falwell crowd. Who is with me?
