How dare religion...
claim it has the authority to regulate the soul. Spiritual guidance, my butt.
How dare people submit to religious authority. Spiritual faith, my butthole.

1. It's not the religion it's the religious
And the religious know it all's. Spiritual guidance comes from within unless you hand over your power by putting some "man" in charge of your thinking.

Spiritual faith in your butthole is fine as long as you don't try to force others to believe in your butthole too.

2. people have trouble separating religion from god
if there is a "god", he did not create religion. Man did. So IMO you are correct in your outrage. Take organized religion out of the mix and there would be a lot less trouble in this world.

3. Lenny Bruce said it best
"A lot of people are leaving the church and going back to God."

4. Could you perhaps be more precise in..
just what your objections are? Rantings like this are extremely confusing.

Which particular religion is "regulating the soul"? And, just what does that mean, anyway?

You seem to be accepting that the soul exists, but there are so many religions out there with so many different attitudes toward the soul that at least one of them must be acceptable. If not, just what would you intend to do with your soul? Where would find the guidance to deal with it without the wisdom of at least a few others who have trodden that path?
