And before people get snarky -- no, "Xian" isn't a misspelling. It's an abbreviation.

That will be all. Have a nice day.

1. "athiest" is the superlative form.
There's athy, athier and athiest.
:D

5. Boy, this is an insult I've overlooked . . .
Doesn't sound like the "Democrat Party" rather than Democratic sort of dissing. Any chance it's a simple typo, or people not being able to spell?

9. I don't think it's an insult.
More like passive-aggressive ignorance. You know when parents of teenagers like to misspell or mispronounce rock musicians' names (even when it's the most easy names), seemingly to affirm their distance from the thing?

14. Nah, I have this problem
If you don't have the problem, good for you! But don't make a big deal out of it. Not all minds work/organize/remember the same way.

I'm able to get this one, if I think about it, because I can reason that it is congruent with "theism", but if I didn't have that handy, I'd probably get it wrong as much as I got it right.

And I are one, so I doubt it's passive aggression.

7. Don't forget to put the apostrophe in "it's" place
It's like the grammar version of "They Live": Everywhere I look I see that damned apostrophe jammed into a defenseless third-person pronoun.

They don't do it to "his".

They don't do it to "hers".

Arrggh!

13. Dyslexia for Cure!
I have slight but nasty touch of dyslexia - I often switch letters in the middle of words - I also can miss the middle of sentences or the middle sentence of a paragraph. Took years to find out what was wrong with me - I was called lazy a lot. But I would do that kind of swtich all the time.

15. Dyslexics of the world, untie!
I'm somewhat dyslexic too; it is mostly numbers that give me trouble. It really sucked being a math major, I tell you. I could set the problems up easy enough, but tended to rearrange the digits if I got hurried or flustered.

16. Or the plural problem
The typo I hate most is using the singular "atheist" for the plural "atheists."

Why do people mock me so with their typos?
