The Catholic Church condemns lust and condemns technological approaches to reducing the chance of pregnancy to close to zero.
The Catholic Church condemns gluttony. What is the Catholic Church's stance on a non-alcoholic, carbonated beverage that has more flavor than water, but zero calories?

Perhaps we should begin by considering the Catholic Church's doctrines with respect to sexual pleasure, costs or risks associated with that pleasure, and the use of technology.
Are those doctrines based on any kind of general principle?
