This is a course in miracles. |
|
"This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite.
This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way:
Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God."

6. I was actually referring to LibinTexas, NOT ACIM. |
|
Haven't you noticed how many of the posts in the religion forum are by atheists challenging people to prove their religious beliefs?

9. If you don't believe.... |
|
...then why even click on this thread? And having clicked on it, realizing it wasn't your cup of tea, why bother to comment? You must have known that it would sink to the bottom and disappear fairly soon.
It's interesting to me that Athiests and Christians are very similar. The believe passionately...in God or no God. And they like to impose their beliefs on others.
Just to clarify...ACIM is not Christian. It is a book that you can read or not read...those are your choices. There is no church, no offering plate...nothing like that. It claims to be ONE WAY to peace...but not the only way. Many people find peace in Atheism. If there's a God, he would approve.

and the central teaching basically is that you create the world you see by the thoughts in your head, it is the core of all religions but now science is catching on through quantum physics.............
