New Religion and a Possible Lawsuit
The religion will be feminist Islam and men will be encouraged to convert to it. The lawsuit concerns the fact that male adherents of feminist Islam will be encouraged to wear a veil whenever they have concerns about the trustworthiness of their social environment or legal environment. This may conflict with the status quo in the NSAted States of America. "We the peep-hole, in order to form a more secure Homeland, sacrifice liberty and ensure plenty of bread and circuses..."

If there are to be equal rights for men and women and equal rights for members of different religions, then will Muslim wives in America be permitted to wear veils in public while male adherents of feminist Islam are forbidden from wearing a veil on the grounds that they might be wanted criminals and need to have their faces and facial expressions visible to the general public and security cameras?

1. In some situations
Muslim women are already forbidden from wearing a veil in this country. I worked at a university clinic, the one of the cleaning staff was a recent immigrant from Somalia and she was forbidden from wearing a veil while in the clinic. This women was not aware (I believe) in the laws governing freedom of religion in this country. She was horrified when told this, we reached a compromise. she would go unveiled as long as there were no male doctors or nurses in the clinic (patients don't count, as they were severely ill). Since all the cleaning was done after hours the doctors were agreeable to this idea, some are Muslim themselves and I think were also horrified.

2. I wonder if a nun worked there
as a nurse if they would force her to unveil?

3. What if she's giving a sponge bath to a male adherent of feminist Islam
and she decides to go a bit beyond the call of duty in thoroughness of cleaning his pencil of creation?

7. "Pencil of creation" is an astonishing phrase, Boojatta.
Gotta say, I think this post finds a very ancient question and puts it onto our modern tables.

I love the aspect of your inquiry regarding male feminist Islam.

That is provocatively interesting and worthy of a book.

4. doubt it!
Not unlike France where in public schools you are forbidden to show your religion. That is going waaaay too far and I would not support any Democrat that started to go in that direction.

6. I may not be an active Catholic anymore, but I am confident in saying that
I haven't seen a nun in a habit in a long time, and if a nun was on duty as a nurse, she would be in uniform, not in her habit. Besides, wearing the wimple as a nun is not equivalent to wearing a veil as a Muslim.
