8. So I poked around the JFJ website

and found their press release. They're quite unapologetic, and the majority of comments are negative.

They seem to be mostly young people. Coincidentally, about three weeks ago, I went out to dinner and had a waiter wearing a star-and-cross pendant on a leather choker. He was way cute, too, and I was dying to ask him about the pendant. (There's one like it in the JFJ store.) But I was with work people and a visiting client, so I kept my mouth shut.
