Thank God! A Christian Real Estate Site! "Hismove.com"
As a Christian, I find this ridiculous and I believe Jesus would too....

http://hismove.com/

Looking for a Real Estate Agent that answers to a Higher Authority??

You've come to the right place! We can connect you with a Christian Real Estate Agent or Loan Officer anywhere in North America!

Wouldn't you rather have a Christian agent that is more interested in YOU than in a commission???

Our Pledge of Performance

As committed believers, and as Real Estate Professionals, we Agree to provide a level of service to our clients which will glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As we are commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves, we give thanks for the opportunity to serve our neighbors by helping them in the process of buying and selling real estate.

7. This has nothing to do with Christian Realtors
since it is obviously the lendors that the ones that are sinning.. :puke:

but I wonder how they feel about lendors charging interest? Loaning money with interest is clearly discouraged in the bible and the Koran. Judging by our current situation, of living in an economy that requires the unrealistic expectation of exponential growth all the time, to not collapse... Maybe those old codgers had a good point?

12. from the movie "The Big Kahuna" the character in the movie Larry sais:
Larry Man: Do I strike you as a particularly religious man, Phil?

Phil Cooper: Not even the slightest.

Larry Mann: Then why am I seized with a sudden overwhelming desire to pray?

Phil... man, we're in Witchita, Kansas. What does it matter whether we're on the 1st floor or the 500th floor? It all looks the same!

Larry Mann: When Jesus comes back he's going to have to give them a 2 day advanced notice, so they can make one of those little graph things.

Larry Mann: Did you mention perhaps what line of industrial lubricants Jesus would have endorsed?

13. Here's a little secret about "real" Christians...
...when they see a business advertise itself with slogans like "Looking for a Real Estate Agent that answers to a Higher Authority," they avoid that business like the plague.

It really is a "red flag," a "what is this person trying to hide" warning signal.

32. Creed is awesome
So is Casting Crowns. Here's one of their hits from this year:

Praise You in This Storm
words by Mark Hall/music by Mark Hall and Bernie Herms

I was sure by now, God You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

Chorus

I lift my eyes unto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes unto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

Chorus

Here's a Creed song from 1999:

Higher

When dreaming I'm guided through another world
Time and time again
At sunrise I fight to stay asleep
'Cause I don't want to leave the comfort of this place
'Cause there's a hunger, a longing to escape
From the life I live when I'm awake
So let's go there
Let's make our escape
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we stay?
Can you take me higher?
To the place where blind men see
Can you take me higher?
To the place with golden streets
Although I would like our world to change
It helps me to appreciate
Those nights and those dreams
But, my friend, I'd sacrifice all those nights
If I could make the Earth and my dreams the same
The only difference is
To let love replace all our hate
So let's go there
Let's make our escape
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we stay?
Up high I feel like I'm alive for the very first time
Up high I'm strong enough to take these dreams
And make them mine

How about this one, written by Todd Rundgren and performed famously by England Dan and John Ford Coley:

Name your price
A ticket to paradise
I can't stay here any more
And I've looked high and low
I've been from shore, to shore, to shore
If there's a short cut I'd have found it
But there is no easy way around it

Light of the world, shine on me
Love is the answer
Shine on us all
Set us free
Love is the answer

Who knows why
Someday we all must die
We're all homeless boys and girls
And we are never heard
It's such a lonely, lonely, lonely world
People turn their heads
And walk on by
Tell me is it worth just another try

Light of the world, shine on me
Love is the answer
Shine on us all
Set us free
Love is the answer

Tell me, are we alive
Or just a dying planet
(What are the chances)

Ask the man in your heart
For the answer

And when you feel afraid
(Love one another)
When you've lost your way
(Love one another)
And when you're all alone
(Love one another)
And when you're far from home
(Love one another)
And when you're down and out
(Love one another)
And when your hopes run out
(Love one another)
And when you need a friend
(Love one another)
And when you're near the end
(Love)
(We've got to love)
(We've got to love one another)

Light of the world, shine on me
Love is the answer
Shine on us all
Set us free
Love is the answer

Light of the world, shine on me
Love is the answer
Shine on us all
Set us free
Love is the answer...

get ripped off from day one....forewarned is forearmed or so they say.

I will not secure the services of anyone who feels the need to advertise their religiosity. I prefer to let actions speak for their devotion. Too often, from what I've seen, claiming a born again faith is carte blanche for engaging in all types of malfeasance but not expecting to be held accountable.

that I find it comical everytime I see something like this.

I'll have to admit, this is a good one! LOL

When I buy my Christian built house, from my Christian realtor, and have my Christian plumber come and work on my Christian house, does this please God?

Those who prey on those who are gullible in this respect have been around for as long as there have been humans (much longer than 6000 years I imagine)

Martin Luther stood up to exploitation by the church, now we can stand up to these charlatans by speaking out against them, and certainly by not using their services.

The ones who choose to advertise that fact don't get mine.

They seem to think their fishies let others know that not only are they better than non-christians, they're better than the other christians who don't advertise as well.

What it lets me know is that they're bigots and more likely to be dishonest because of their hypocrisy.
