3. Some people trust their intelligence; some trust their feelings.
It's the human condition and it amazes me.

5. Everyone trusts their feelings
Some people simply have more emotional relevance stored up in reason than others. The brain is an emotional engine. Everything is related emotionally.

I could present you with a reasoned argument that you should be able to walk through a wall because it is composed of mostly empty space and atoms never really touch anyway. I don't care how well represented my argument was. You would still brace yourself just before you hit the wall because you did not believe it.

Emotions always beat reason. We have been fortunate that systems that embrace reason have found emotional footholds in human society and lead to our advances.

6. Somewhere along the way...
One must allow the discipline of trusting the logic, to allow for the reinforcement of the use of reason, to establish the connection between reason and satisfaction.

4. Hmm...
Definitely food for thought. This is hard stuff to reconcile. I wonder how Christians can respond to it?
I'm not sure I can respond to it.
Sigh.
Some of the points are pretty redundant, though. Repeats a lot.
