Nate took place in the fourth "Day One" event (because of the number of entries, there are four "day ones" so as to have manageable crowds). He managed to survive into day two, and will continue to play tomorrow (7/8). He has chip stack 61550, which is above average. You can follow the progress here:

1. Love the WSOP.....
just hate that it takes ESPN so long to show the series. I don't want to know who wins in July so it's more fun to watch the whole series to find out. Got my favorites....Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, Jamie Gold, Allen Cunningham, Phil Ivey, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Gus Hansen AKA "The Great Dane", and my women, Vanessa Rousso, & Jennifer Harman Traniello.

2. Update
Silver is doing quite well, breaking the top 40 in chip count.

Lots of time left today, play won't end until after 12a local time.

3. Day 2 finished
Looks like Nate is still in the game. Also of note from the sports world is Jordan Farmar from the Lakers. And Lou Diamond Phillips.
