Marlins Clobber the Giants 7-0
Chris Volstad pitched a beautiful shut-out. He only allowed 5 hits. Oh yeah and that Fat Panda kid made a throwing error and cost the Giants a run. Woo-Hoo!!

1. So let's add up the season series.
Giants: 4
Marlins: 3

You even got an extra home game.

And you still lost.

33. The Rockies are only one game behind
the midgets for top "second tier" status! Even the Diamondbacks are hotter right now than those "small men"!!

Yep, three teams in one division in the running for the playoffs. A very strong division, indeed!

7. You'd know, Chumley.
I'll look forward to you saying that in all of Upton's Giants updates. Oh wait, you don't really mind gloating, just not when it comes from teams better than yours. Once again, you don't actually stand for anything, you're just a hypocritical little puke with all the wit, charm and likability of an Alsatian after a head swap operation.

3. I supppose this wasn't a character win for the Marlins?
Eh, Cbuptonoy?

Typical theme here going on with the Small Men. They have their boot on another teams neck and in position to sweep a series and they fail to show up.

I warned you guys. Shades of the 07 Mets. They had the same problems taking the first two of series against teams they were supposed to beat and not going in for the kill in game three.

Going back to the beginning of june the Small Men have swept two teams and neither of them are NL foes; Texas and Oakland.

Thus far the Small Men have only two series sweeps against NL opponents on the year. The last one you have to go all the way back to May against Atlanta. The other was measely two game set against San Diego.

6. On the other hand
the Chokers have already been swept 5 times this year and 2 out of their last 3 series.

As opposed to the Giants having been swept 4 times and only once since the middle of May.

I'll take 2 out of 3 anytime and so would the Chokers, but lately they've had trouble winning even 1.

And then we have this..

Wild Card Standings

Giants..46-38

Chokers.39-43 6 games back

10. Again, how you fail to note the pertinent point
The Frisco Giant Chokers can not close out series that they are in position to sweep.

YOu both have prematurely proclaimed this team a contender and time and time again they prove they are not capable of closing out sets.

Chokers.

The Chokers tag is off the Mets this season. They are performing to their expectations with the guys off the roster.

Frisco Giant Chokers.

(BTW Great job blowing a sweep against the franchise you two have been monkeyin on all season long. That's gotta sting!!!!!)

12. There's no question the Giants are a contender
what I want to know is why the team with the second highest payroll in MLB and such a "great" third baseman isn't.

And if you're going to give me that injury excuse, here's your answer in advance..:nopity:

17. Well, lets try this Einstein
The guys taking up much of that payroll are not playing.

I know you're an excersize in cognitive dissonance but could you try to be a little less self contradictory?

This is exactly how you beat the shit out of yourself with your own argument. You shot your own hypothesis down yourself.

Great work.

If you happen to get a hold of a fire arm some day be sure not shoot yourself in the foot.

Frisco Giant Chokers.

23. Talking about shooting down arguments...
if a team took 2 out of every 3 games throughout the MLB season, they would finish 108-54..

Oh, BTW, do you think it would too much to ask of the terribly injury ravaged Chokers:eyes: for them to at least compete against the Dodgers tonight?

I mean I see they're already behind..what an embarrassment the Chokers have become, no wonder they're booed.

26. I never claimed you took two out of three from every series
You either split, fail to close out series you are in position to sweep.

You've also been swept four times this season. Twice by division rival San Diego which is royally embarssing.

The Frisco Chokers do not have a killey instinct at all. They are in fact, GIANT CHOKE ARTISTS.

Besides that fact that asses are drawn to one another like Barbie and Ken, that is.

19. And . . .
I was listening to the awful homers from the Giants radio crew on my ride home from work and it looks like your awful team has giveaways, too. Tomorrow you get $10 off in a $24 seat section. You also get a free crab sandwich. So for $10 less you get the crabs by going to a Giants game. Cool!!

25. While you were listening, could you hear the voices of the
34,157 on hand for a Thursday afternoon game against a boring draw in that of Florida?

I bet if the Marlins gave away ATM machines filled with money as a promotion, they couldn't draw 34,157.

What do you think?

I mean they did see their awful Fat Panda go 1 for 4 and have that awful error. Also, the MArlins were embarrassing them. I mean a team that can only get 17,000 people has to be such an awful team. You are so transparent.

28. I agree. 17,000 for any game would be a disgrace....And sadly, the Marlins
draw well below 17,000 for lots of games.

I seem to recall when the Giants played down there, they were barely cracking ten grand.

I guess all of the fans live 120 miles away from the stadium.
