12. Now Jack Rabbit, why is this OP not valid?
This Cubs team, by all accounts, was said to be the most complete squad in the NL if not baseball.

The Phillies are clearly beatable, because their pitching is atrocious.

So the Cubs were a lot of people's favorites this year.

I want to know what happened, besides Rich Harden's ERA ballooning to over 5.00

17. I have NEVER seen Trumad beat a dead horse the way those other two can.
They're in a class by themselves.

18. When he stops beating those two like a dead horse

. . . and he stoops to their level whenever he does, I'll reconsider.

Meanwhile, as a former resident of the city that is the jewel of the Pacific Coast, I find Trumad's way of getting under their skin every bit as juvenile as any either of them has ever done and much more offensive.

3. I agree. I gave the Cubs 25+ years of my life but after last year in the division series
I said "no more". They are dead to me. I don't wear any Cubs gear any longer nor watch them on TV or listen to them on MLB radio. I told all of my family and friends that I am finished.

By the way, the Cubs proved to me that they are true morans (DU spelling) when they signed the train wreck Milton Bradley for 3 years, 30 million. Enjoy jackasses. There is a reason that tool has been on 5 teams in as many years.

22. WTF? 25+ years isnt enough? What have they ever given me but pain. BTW, I got rid of the Browns
in waaaaaaayyyyy less time. About 3 years and it has been liberating to have calm Sundays. In fact, I don't have a "team" in the NFL and I only watch the playoffs if interesting.

23. That's part of life being a sports fan. Upton and my Giants were eight outs away
from beating the Angels in 2002 when they collapsed in the World Series.

And what's worse is I let my guard down and started saying to myself that they were going to do it.

That made it more painful. Up 5-0 in the bottom of the 7th and they couldn't hold on.

I cried for two days like someone in my family died.

And I still think I wake up in the middle of the night.

And just when I start to ask myself, why do I do this to me, it's spring training again and I'm as excited as a little boy and can't wait for the season.

Nobody ever said sports was kind. Nope, it can break your heart.

9. Sanata worth the 19
Perez getting 12 I'll agree with.

The Mets are not paying 14 to Sheff.

Wagner was worth the 10.5.

You fail.

Wanna explaing why Arron Rowan makes more than Wright?

14. Everything I see
says Sheffield is making 14 million this year...Seems you're not fully informed.

And Rowand is making more because Wright, since he's gone off his special "diet":eyes:, has turned into a weakling..

19. yeah..take a look at Rowand's catch tonight
with one out in the 9th inning, saving Jonathon Sanchez's no hitter and you'll see why makes more money than Wright.

to knock them further behind the Giants in the wildcard.
