Lets count the way the NL All-Stars have fucked Lincecum in the !st inning.
That awful David Wright makes a wild throw to first base, fucking up an easy double play. :puke:

Mister home town hero Albery Pujols fucks up an easy ground ball to first. :puke:

Fortunately Lincecum plays for a better team than the NL All-Stars.

1. Nice throw by "All Star" David Wright wasn't it?
Then the Pujols error...Lincecum should have been out of the inning.

I see they're charging Tim with 1 ER because you can't assume a DP..but that Wright is an ass.

2. Lincecum fucked himself
when he didn't even cover first on a double play ball. He looked like shit in that inning. I guess he's not ready for prime time....or is he blowing it on purpose to mess up possible home field advantage in the WS?

So far, midgets all-stars: -1

A.L. hitters: +2

Thanks a lot, Wiley Wiggins!

4. Your lousy Choker third baseman not only can't hit for power
he apparently can't throw to first base either....what can Wright do, besides walk every once an awhile?

You gotta be thankful he only pitched in the NL West.

Judging on this performance the AL East would eat this fucking clown ALIVE if he had to face them in interleague play.

19. MY third baseman??
:wtf:

That wasn't Casey Blake out there. He would have made the play.

Go go Victorino!! The voters obviously picked the right guy to bail Lincedum out of trouble.

I see Timmy was pulled even before he could get an at-bat. FAIL

like inthebrain...making no sense. Tim only gave up only 1 ER, Halladay gave up 3...PASS

And you're right, Blake would have made the play as would have Pablo. In fact any halfway decent third baseman would have...but we're talking about David Wright here.

3. Yeah and to think he was doing such a great job.
Gives up a hit to Ichiro (can't really fault him too much, since Ichiro gets about 8 hits a game)
Hits Jeter with 2 strikes I believe.
Doesn't cover 1st base quick enough to turn the other potential double play.

Wright and Pujols did fuck up, but only a fool would say that Lincecum didn't too.

7. It's too much to ask him to cover first
But it's nerves that's the reason for the shitty fundamentals.

We get that.

Not that he hit a batter, can't throw strikes and blew an 0-2 count to Ichiro.

22. Why would you lash out at Upton for pointing out Wright was responsible
for multiple AL runs scoring?

I mean, I know Wright doesn't care about the NL winning, since the Chokers don't have to worry about home field advantage in October .. but you'd think he'd want to put on a better show.

28. No need to start talking crazy like they do.
Lincecum obviously doesn't suck. He had a bad start in the All Star Game. Last year Brad Lidge took the loss for the N.L and didn't blow a save in the entire regular season and postseason. Tim is still a great pitcher.

Jeter didn't even make a face.

Fucking Manuel didn't even come out to argue. He must have been busy in the dugout voting a few more times for Victorino.

25. Tim gave up 1 ER and 2 hits
and would have escaped unscathed if it wasn't for David Wright then Pujols. Meanwhile, Halladay was hit for 3 earned on 4 hits. According to All Star rules, if the NL retains the lead the rest of the game, Lincecum will be the winning pitcher.

So just what are you talking about?

Two runs on Lincecum's watch, One run on Billingsley's watch. I rest my case.

btw, kudos to Albert Pujols for two great plays that more then make up for his error.

38. You forgot the most important thing.
The NL lost by one run. The second run allowed by Lincedum is SOLELY on his head for not covering first. That extra run that didn't need to have scored but for Timmy's boner. He must have learned that lack of hustle from watching Barry Bonds.

if it wasn't for David Wright's bad throw and the resulting Pujols error, the inning would have been over. Still though, the NL had a 3-2 lead until "Chad" came in and gave it away.

43. The great players and great teams shake off errors
and just concentrate on the batter at hand. Errors happen and are part of the game but champions will not let the errors effect their game. He obviously was still thinking about those miscues when he should have remembered to cover first. Like I siad, he's not ready for prime time.

Lets look at the box score, shall we?

LINCECUM:

1 ER, 1K, 4.50 ERA (even though it would have been 0.00 had it not been for suspicious David Wright, who has no more power.)

BILLINGSLEY

1 ER, OK, 9.00 ERA :wow:

EDIT: *****OOOOPS, sorry, I didn't know Upton had already posted Billingsley's crappy line

33. Thanks David
the entire 1st inning was Wright's fault..if he makes an accurate throw to first base, there would have been no runner on 1st to shield Pujols from seeing the following ground ball.

The inning would have been over with no runs scored...the way I see it, you can hold David Wright personally responsible for the NL's loss of home field advantage for the WS.
