Second best record in the game, behind only the excellent Dodgers in the NL.

1. You know, the Yankees droppped to three games back when A-Hole struck
out for the last out of Sunday's game. I still get all tingly when I picture that futile swing.

2. I thought perhaps it might be the Yankees year .. for no other reason
other than a hunch, and the fact they've been hanging tough with Boston.

That is until I watched that disgraceful NYY pitching staff over the weekend against Anaheim.

There is no way on hell that pitching staff will guide them to anything other than perhaps second place in the AL East and lots of mocking.

I'm not sure who wins the AL West, but I think that's where you'll find your wild card representative.

So.... the Yankees will be staying home yet again. HA!

No question, the Red Sox are a very impressive, tough as nails team -- something I only admit to classy Sox fans like flvegan. !!!!

Incidentally .. screw the Dodgers.

3. The Yanks aren't out of it yet (unfortunately).
Third best W/L record in MLB right now. They've got good hitters and more games than anyone else in New York's Home Run Stadium, so that helps I'm sure.

I do have to tip the cap to the Dodgers who played very well even without their beloved Manny.
