Giants fall to Pirates on walk-off blast
PITTSBURGH -- The Giants' malaise against the Pirates continued on Friday night as Garrett Jones hit his second home run of the game to lead off the 14th inning, lifting the Bucs to a 2-1 victory.

San Francisco has lost four games in a row at PNC Park and eight of its past 10. Overall, the Giants have dropped nine of their past 12 games against the Pirates, who broke a four-game losing streak.

1. Sheesh!
Are we still at this? Come on, forkboy. I think it's time to call an end to this silliness. Let the twins have their thing. The rest of us can act like adult sport fans.

5. Yeah, I Figured That
It just seems like it would be a better forum if we just all let this drop.

7. But you know the twins will NEVER drop their act.

I've given cboy the benefit of the doubt 3 times in the last two years, just to have him pull another lame ass stunt each time. The last one was him apologizing to me for flipping out over a Sharks post I made the night they got ousted from the playoffs. I had stuck up for him in a thread about gay rights in GD-P and he sent me an apology for his reaction to that Sharks thread the night they lost. He apologized for accusing me of starting that thread just to rub it in, and admitted he was a "prick" and that he was just so upset over the Sharks losing that he lashed out...and he was right (I like the Sharks, and wanted then to win). I thought that was pretty cool of him, and I told him I appreciated the apology a lot, which I did. It was the first and only time in all his years here that I've seen him exhibit some actual adult behavior. It wouldn't last long.

A couple of weeks ago he told Upton that I posted that Sharks thread just to rub it in, totally contradicting his private apology to me in order to save face in public. It's what you would expect from a Freeper.

I don't have to get along with someone to know if they're a good person beneath all the trash talk. For example, trumad and I never got along on DU, yet I know if the chips were down he'd have my back, and I hope he knows I'd have his, both politically and physically if need be. Cboy, on the other hand, would stab me in the back first chance he got if it meant making himself look good. He talks about liberal values yet demonstrates all the trustworthiness of a Republican on crack.

3. I can discuss things as an adult with others, but I'm not going to with them.
Sorry, they deserve all this and more, and I'm not cutting them an inch of slack. As long as they insist on being the people they are I will treat them accordingly.

If there is an issue you would like to discuss you can always start a thread about it. But the twins get no pity and no mercy.

4. I'm Not Defending Them
But, wouldn't letting it go be more productive?

6. Of course it would. But I'm not into sports for productivity.
I can't even think of what good sports does for society. We should teach massage in high school instead of football. If I really wanted to be productive I wouldn't be a sports fan in the first place. ;)

Besides, like roaches, these two don't go away if you ignore them.

I know you're not defending the two. Who in their right mind would? If you start threads I'll be nice in them. Or I'll try, anyways.
