3. Is the ACC part of the BCS Championship? I think the Big Sky may have a better
chance than the ACC.

32. I don't know about the Big Sky,
but even though I'm BC fan, I don't think the ACC is good enough to warrant an automatic BCS bid. Same with the Big East.

If you removed all the automatic bids, I'll bet the SEC, Big 10, Big 12 and Pac 10 would have at least 1 team in each year anyway.

6. Interesting that you would mention Bowden who just had 14 wins taken
away for rules violations. (i.e. CHEATING)

You should be familiar with that after the love affair that Frisco had with the steroid era!

8. Condem, the leagues are here:
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/teams

In the "coastal" I'll go with VT. As for the Atlantic, it seems up in the air. Clemson's got a new coach, BC has a relatively new coach, Florida State?

Assuming VT hasn't lost a step, I'll say they win the title game again. They have had stellar defense for the last couple of years.

14. Considering the state of the ACC, the Terrapins may well be the rep
for the ACC in the BCS, that is, if the Big Sky Conference doesn't take it away!

:D

13. Coastal: Virginia Tech; Atlantic: Florida State; Va Tech wins the CCG
That's my thinking at this point, anyway. Florida State is really young, but they have talent, and there isn't a sure-fire team in the Atlantic division. NC State could be a dark horse, but they have to play FSU, VTech, and Boston College on the road.

In the Coastal Division, Georgia Tech has a great offense coming back, but they lose almost half their defense. Miami has a brutal opening schedule--they have Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech in September and then Oklahoma in the first week of October.

BC-Virginia doesn't strike me of a huge rivalry. Now, BC-ND. How many great games? Besides the point. BC belongs in the Big east.

22. I was against the move at first, but now I like it.
I'm crazy, but I enjoy seeing an ACC game every week (even if it's not always BC). I enjoy watching UNC and Clemson and Miami and FSC, etc. It provides a lot of fun games to see.

No, I don't have cable at all now. I just pick and choose from online sources. As long as the games are close I don't care what conference it is. Besides, it's college football, not something important like hockey. ;)

29. Or you could say the "LBF"s"--Little Boy Fuckers---against the convicts.
Oh that's just the Priests.... but hey--- why not a rapist BC player as well...

Playing football at Boston College was a proud tradition for one Maryland family. Charlie Smith began the legacy as BC's captain in 1965. His son, Charles Jr., played for the Eagles in the 1990s, as did his nephew, Matt Smith.
more stories like this

But the family's decades-long relationship with the school took a disturbing twist yesterday when Matt's brother, Brady J. Smith, was arraigned in Brighton Municipal Court on felony charges that he broke into a campus apartment and raped a female student.

Smith, 20, a 6-foot-2-inch, 285-pound defensive lineman who hoped to play professional football, was ordered held on $50,000 cash bail after a prosecutor told the court that Smith sexually assaulted the woman in her sleep about 4 a.m. Saturday after she spurned his physical advances at The Kells, an Allston nightspot.

is that the head coach/Athletic director/boosters didn't just make it all "disappear".

38. When draft time comes around
and everyone's talking about "character issues" and an "incident involving..." is usually code for something bad happened but no charges were filed, and/or witnesses refused to talk. I suspect you think I was referring to Miami, but when I wrote that I was actually thinking about former Patriots draft pick Christian Peter and Nebraska head coach (and repuke congressman) Tom Osborne.
