Poll question: White Sox vs Cubs WS will it happen?
We already had a Mets Yankee WS. It's time for Chicago to have the Red Line series. Let's get this done while Obama is President. Can't he pull a few strings to get this done?

5. Goats Head Soup, flvegan.
Milton Bradley was a good pick-up, though. Good temperment.

8. When Hell Freezes Over
We haven't been able to have both teams good at the same time in my life. And i'm 53 years old.

Yeah, they both made the playoffs last year, but that hardly counts toward your question.

And, this year they're both ordinary. Every time either of them starts to show some life, they hit another losing streak.

So, we won't be seeing both in the WS for as long as we're alive.

10. Cubs will make the playoffs (again) this year.
If they keep making the playoffs every year, they will win the WS (again) eventually. The Cubs of my youth never once strung 2 winning seasons together so this current run is the best Cubs baseball has been since WWII.

12. I would like to the Cubbies pull one off
I think as sports fans when you see someone going a century without a champioship you're willing to let them have one. There has to be some form of sports justice where these guys can just have their year. The horror of it is that it's been generations of cubs fans that have come and gone without having their day in the sun.

There's something very wrong with that. I think it's the horror that that could happen to you.
