Since Upton claimed they were on a winning streak after winning two---??? I guess two consecutive losses constitutes a losing streak?

1. Saw that the other day

That was really funny.

One of those posts where you wonder if these guya are baseball novices. Baseball, more than any other sport, is really about how you do in 10-20 game stretches. Those two are beginning to remind me of the Canadien's and Sabres fans from this last hockey season all declaring their teams contenders couse they got off to a good start in October and November.

Coming down to the final nine weeks of the season and the contedenders are starting to seperate themselves from the pretenders.

2. There might be a big deal in the works with Cleveland

It was reported in the local S.F. papers this morning that Cleveland scouted the entire Giants organization from top to bottom. The Indians are shopping catcher/1b Victor Martinez, Starter Cliff Lee, and outfielder/1b Ryan Garko. All would fill needs the Giants have.

Being a fan of both teams I'm torn as to what I would like to see. But if the Giants acquire Martinez and maybe even Garko they'll be much more of a force.
