Here's my Superbowl pick for 2010 |
|
Bears/Chargers
I believe both teams picked up the final ingredients to put them on top in 09/10.
Getting Cutler was huge for Da Bears... and Ron Rivera, the Chargers defensive coordinator--who had that position with Da Bears in 2004-06, seems to have put together a fierce defense.
Both teams have it on both sides of the ball.
so there it is---bookmark it and either laugh at my prediction in January---or--------

5. That's not a far out prediction. |
|
I can see both teams being in the hunt. Cutler may be a jackass, but he can throw the ball a lot better than Orton did, and that was the major trouble with that team. I'm still not sure who Cutler will throw to all year, but it's the Bears. It's going to be Forte, 3 yards and a cloud of dust all year anyways. Cutler won't have to air it out all the time, just enough to keep the defense honest. And it's not the toughest division in the world. The Vikes and packers have .500 written all over them, and the Lions...well, it's the Lions.
The Chargers should be right there, but Turner makes it all a big question mark for me. He has never impressed me at all. But they have the talent for sure. So we'll see. I still say Giants/Steelers, but your picks are good too.

6. Couldn't agree more about Turner... |

Turner was with the Phins during the Wannstedt days and you could quickly see that these guys weren't shit without JJ.
