... any illusions you have get removed. My Georgia Bulldogs are going to be a very mediocre team this year. We're probably looking at somewhere between 4 and 7 losses.

Congratulations to Oklahoma State.

1. T Boone Pickens U is the real deal, GaYellowDawg
Now that Oklahoma has been uncovered it's OSU and Texas in the Big 12. I'm afraid you're right about the Dawgs. My wife is depressed.

3. I was really surprised that UGA lost
I actually picked them to upset Oklahoma State.

I think that the Dawgs will get better as the season progresses. They won't win the SEC East, I don't think, but they will get better.

4. Yeah, me too.

I appreciate your politeness. I really do. But the phrase I'm thinking of is "it is more likely for Michele Bachmann to show reason than for Georgia to win the SEC East this year." We are going to get absolutely ROLLED by LSU and Florida. Georgia Tech isn't going to treat us well, and we could very well get beaten by both Tennessee and Vanderbilt (a very fundamentally sound football team). I view the Arkansas and South Carolina games as risky, given the absolute ineptness of our offense and special teams - which aren't very special at all.

I haven't seen a Georgia offense with this little promise since 1996. I haven't seen special teams this bad... well... maybe ever. I have readjusted my expectations for this team from Capital One Bowl to Music City Bowl. If we can even make that.
