Federer is amazing!
That shot he pulled off at the end of the match against Djokovic was spectacular.

:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow:

1. Hmm...shoulda put a spoiler...
...although not many tennis fans here, just people who know nothing and put their 2 cents in from time to time.

I actually thought it would be a closer match...I'm rooting for Roger, but am glad Juan Martin beat Nadal...I think he's going to only get better in the next few years...I don't think this is just a one-shot chance at a Slam for him.

5. Sorry if I spoiled it for somebody...
I got carried away with my enthusiasm.

I hardly ever post anything here... I don't know much either, I'm just a Federer fan.

Del Potro is looking damn good! I'm going to enjoy the final tomorrow!

7. Actually, I'm sure you didn't...I knew the outcome, and like I said,
not many tennis fans here...just armchair posters who want to turn this palce into GD!

You're right, del porto is looking good..it should be a good match, although there's always the first-time jitters for players making it to their first slam final.

I don't know who to root for in the women's...either winning is a great story.

15. Well, I AM A Huge Tennis Fan... But Don't Post Much Here... My Son Works For
one of the female ALL TIME GREATS!! I've enjoyed meeting some of the female tennis "stars" if only for a brief encounters! I cherish the pictures and memorabilia from the meetings.

I played tennis for many, many, many years but now my back just can't take it anymore! I really miss playing, A LOT!! I love the Tennis Channel and watch a lot of the smaller venues!

Tennis is a game that uses almost every muscle in your body, from head to toe... it take it's toll as time goes by, thus my degenerative disks from scoliosis! The game is just some much fun!

The high quality of play is just getting better and better and truly amazing!

2. I am rooting for
Del Potro. I don't like Federer. He is great, maybe the greatest of all-time, but he bores me.

3. Eh, that's just because you think he's cute!
I do, too, but I want Roger to put some more titles between him and Sampras so there's never any doubt as to who is the best. Del Porto will will a few big ones eventually, makr my words, he's got the game for it.

4. I never really cared for Sampras either
I'm weird like that, I guess. Del Potro is ok looking, and this time it's not about looks. I would love to see Del Potro pull the upset but I Don't think it's going to happen this time.

6. I liked him until I found out what a big-time Repuke he is...
...he still thinks that if he and Federer were both playing in their prime at the same time, he'd beat Roger. Unlikely.

11. Him being a repuke (which I didn't know)
doesn't bother me, nor does it play a factor into me not liking him.

8. Who are you rooting for in the women's final?
I can't choose...I think either winning is a great story...I wish they both could win, and who whoever loses goes on to win some slams in the future.

9. I think Wozniacki.
I'm covered her a few times. She just won in New Haven, and I spoke to her on several occasions. But Kimmie is a good story too!

12. I Want To See Kim Win It... She Got Robbed & I'm So Sorry Serena
blew it! I know Serena is superb, but she DID the WRONG thing and should own up to it!!

I'm for Kim this time around... but either one is fine!

10. DelPo Was Amazing Today! I Really Like Rafa... But Was So Glad To See
DelPo win! My very favorite Is Novak, The Djoker and knew he would probably lose to Federer, but he did better than I thought!

Rafa got blown away, but he is suffering from injury!

But THAT SHOT from Federer was ONE IN A MILLION! Even HE said it was the best shot he ever made!

But I love me some NOVAK! He hasn't been playing well for some time, but seems to be coming back!

Go DelPo!! Time for some NEW action!

13. Hard To Say Federer Is Boring... It's Just We're Tired Of Him Winning All The Time!
That shot against Novak was phenomenal, blew me away! Perhaps it was simply "lucky" and I think it was, but he gave it his all and it was a winner!

And I wanted Nova to win myself, but you just can't take that away from Roger! Still I would love to see an upset and see Juan Martin win! He has some super power!

14. Naw, I think he's boring to watch.
His skills are amazing, no debate there. He just doesn't interest me. I don't ever find myself wanting to watch him, or root for him.

16. I don't think he's boring at all...when he's on top of his game, it's poetry...
...I wouldn't mind seeing Juan Martin win, but I want Roger to get a few more...his time is running out, he's still at the top, but he can really only do that for a year or maybe two more. Juan martin i think is the next #1 player in tennis.

17. I Agree... He Moves Extremely Well For His 6' 7" Frame... That Is Something
unusual too! I will confess something else here too... I DON'T LIKE Andy Roddick! I don't care that he's an American, I think he's a loud mouth... he turns me OFF!

was the only player to boycott the dubai tournament when they denied an israeli player entry...into the woman's tournament no less...none of the women even took a stand

20. Okay.. So That's ONE Good... I Remember Too... Still He Does Still Seem
to be full of himself! Plus, I have my doubts about some things Israel these days! It was a plus for him... but he comes off as pompous too much!

Women's Match... coming up!

L8R!!

22. Well, Time Will Tell... Late Coming Back... GLAD Kim Won, But "Horrors" For
me!! I have a DISH, and it's usually causes us no problem, but even though we've had so little rain in my part of the world, it started to rain the day before yesterday! Some really much needed "good" rain that was more than a quick down pour. Well, I didn't get to see the end of the Caroline/Kim match!

I'm heart broken. I've checked out US OPEN.org and it seems Adobe Flash might be a way to watch the end, but I'm having trouble connecting right now!

I'll hold off any more criticism of Andy for a while... I just wonder how much he's matured.

24. Thank You... I Left Here & Checked The Tennis Channel & Saw Most Of
the 2nd set. Just didn't see the tie break! Thanks anyway... I was surprised to see that Wozniaki was 5'9" & 128 lbs... same height as Kim, but she weighs 150! Caroline looks small... but it's Oudin who's the small one.

Looks like Roger may take another one. I'm sure DelPo has lots of nerves to tend with! I'm growing tired of ROGER all the time! They aren't showing the match on any of my channels right now... have to wait til 8:00 tonight, but I checked the US OPEN site! I cheated, I guess.

Maybe next year, other than Nadal the others may give him a run! He's been playing extremely well this year, and I must admit I was surprised that Novak did as well as he did yesterday. Novak is just now getting back to his best play!

He's my guy, but I like Rafa too! Still a match between those two would leave rooting for Nove!

What an outstanding COME BACK!! Are you not just BLOWN AWAY??? I can't WAIT to see this! It wasn't on my TV earlier... going to check The Tennis channel now!!

Why isn't it on MY TV???? It SAYS Men's Final, but it's NOT THERE!! Be back later, if I can find it!!! I just CAN'T miss this, I've got to find it!

I'm almost "typeless" right now! I'm SO SO VERY HAPPY!! What A Guy! DelPO!! What a US OPEN!!
