I need 100 points from now from both Ronnie Brown and Peyton Manning to win against my fantasy opponent. Go Brown and Manning! :bounce:

Miami's kicker has hit a 44 yarder and two from 45, Miami 23 Indy 20.
Manning's 80 yard TD pass at the start of the game skewed the TOP numbers a bit.
Plus Miami has been running well all night (200+ yards on the ground).

10. The Dolphins had 3:18 left when they took their final possession |
|
That should be all the time in the world. There was no reason for them to wind up so desperate on the last play. That was bizarre.

That was the worst display of football that I've ever seen them play and yes that includes the 1-15 season.

12. That was poor clock management by Miami in the last 3 minutes |

However Ginn should have had that ball. Good game by both teams and it's rare for a team to dominate time of possession like that and lose. Didn't the Colts break some kind of T.O.P. record and win?

13. From a Miami Herald thread: |
|
Indianapolis had the ball for only 14:53, the lowest time of possession for a winning team in the NFL since 1977.

14. Year of low expectations begins predictably |
|
Regression to the mean is too powerful in the NFL. Winning 11 games against a weak schedule while using a massive turnover edge pointed to the direction of this season. I realize it's cute to try to evaluate position by position but the big picture tends to get in the way.
All the sharpest guys on the betting sites were playing Miami tonight, +3 or +3.5 earlier in the week. I completely understood it from a tendency standpoint: Home underdogs early in the season give massive effort if the team is competent, and coming off a loss. It was guaranteed the Dolphins would have huge intensity today. But I couldn't pull the trigger against Manning. The guy wins a dozen games every year. With a short number I always want him going with me, not against me.
The safeties suck. They've sucked for years. I heard Dick Anderson call out Yeremiah Bell a year ago. Somehow he's rated highly. I don't see it. But he's 10x Gabrel Wilson, who has no business being on the field, unless the only alternative is Cameron Worrell.
Now the Dolphins face on of the worst scheduling scenarios in the NFL, a road non-division game after playing on Monday Night.

16. Am I crazy, or did I see 20 yard completions? |
|
I saw shots to the end zone that should have been caught. I saw other good passes that should have been caught.
At some point they've got to let Pennington quarterback the damn team.
And last year, they ran wild cat plays with Pennington lined up that were great.
Pat White is not ready, everytime he comes into a game everything grinds to a halt.
