5. You mean bought the AL East?
All other teams should be given a handicap based on salaries.

6. The Washington Nationals?
No wait, that's the opposite. National League for starters, and the Yanks currently have a 100-56 record while the polar opposite Nationals have a 52-103 record.

My bad.

10. I'm not happy about it either...
some of their recent "personnel decisions" over the weekend were supposed to be to "prepare them for the playoffs". If they make it to the World Series, I'm willing to forget all about this weekend.

11. Yeah, I'm willing to forget and forgive, but it seems just too laid
back...I mean, they really don't even have to try to make it in as the Wild Card and nothing they do will change the fact that they're going to Anaheim, but they gave Satan a real morale booster this weekend.

that I don't have to listen to the satan crap. Too bad jacobair is not around to root for the Skankees!

16. You know what's funny, is that Roid Sox fans have become the spitting
image of Skankees fans.

Guess that makes you a Satan fan.

So start worshipping me, kiddoe!

I mean, "Yankees Suck!" and all, but please don't insult me by painting me with that broad brush.

13. I'm not sure how much of a morale boost
Edited on Mon Sep-28-09 06:51 PM by hughee99
Sabathia's 3-0 win over the Sox 4th starter, or Pettitte's 4-2 win over a guy who wasn't in baseball 3 months ago is. Beating Lester was a moral boost for them, though, and their pen didn't look that bad. I don't think they really needed the moral boost, after beating up on the Sox in the second half, anyway. The playoffs is a whole new season, though (thankfully).

17. Looking at the pitchers, this feels like March...
Bowden, Hunter Jones and Dustin Richardson? I'd like to see them get the bats going even if they don't win.
