6. RT for week 5
Tough week... my Tigers have their first road trip of the season to Neyland and the Vols are hungry to knock AU back down to earth. If AU's O can exploit some weaknesses, they have a shot, but with Berry in the D-backfield, he's a world beater. Hopefully, Crompton stays like, well, Crompton of the recent past and provides some more turnovers to the good guys.

Hoping for good games without serious injury for everyone...

Here we go:

Michigan State

LSU

Miami

Washington

Auburn

Southern California ("USC")

Minnesota

Florida State

fun game; Oregon State

9. I think he learned a lot from that experience
Edited on Wed Sep-30-09 09:04 AM by RT Atlanta
and, unfortunately at IS expense, those "lessons" seem to be serving him well since he was hired at AU (contrast with Lame Kitten at UT). People also forget quickly that Chizik was the "hottest" coordinator in the country when hired at Iowa State (having 2 undeafeated seasons in 2 years under his belt as defensive coordinator at Aubun in 2004 and Texas in 2005).

Still, the Vols are no team to sneeze at and with a night game up there, AU (and especially its D and special teams), will have to play significantly better to come home with a win. With the D game plan Monte Kiffin put together for the Gators, I know they will 'come to play.'

Was fun watching The Aub's offense. Nifty. Aub and UT were both 5-7 last season. Aub's is now 5-0 and UT is 2-3 with UGA, Bama and S. Carolina coming up.

The UT coaching staff is awful.

15. I'm not talking about Jesus as a person, God as a thing, here, joey.
If ND was truly God's team then one could make the argument that there was no God. We know that to be false. Besides, I have a direct line to the Almighty and when I spoke of your proclamation He laughed in that deep gutteral roar of His and said, "on the contrary, condem. If there was ever Satan's team, Notre Dame is it. My Jesus, they sold their soul for a TV contract...refused to join My conference-the Big Ten. Just a bunch of Beezelbubs".
Swear to God, joey.

44. Screw the Big Ten
In the early part of last century Notre Dame asked to join the Western Conference, the pre-curser to the Big Ten and not only was denied entry by the likes of Michigan, Michigan State and Illinois but the same schools refused to play ND. The next conference, which eventually became the B1g 10, also refused ND entry even though there were only nine conference members. So why would they want to join them now?

We're talking about the present, here. This year, for instance. They had a schedule that was tailor-made for a BCS run. Admit it. They haven't been impressive under Weis. As a ND fan you've had to be dissappointed. My guess is USC will end their BCS hopes but Weis will win enough to keep his job.

And damn, let's hope we don't have a huge bunch of upsets this week.

Michigan -2.5 @ Michigan State ---> I have to go with Michigan due to their increased practice time. :evilgrin:
LSU +2.5 @ Georgia ---> I'm going to go with Georgia. They are such a weird team that they might pull this one off.
Oklahoma -7 @ The"U" (Miami) ---> Miami
Washington +13.5 @ Notre Dame ---> Washington - hey, they could pull the upset!
Auburn +2 @ Tennessee ---> Auburn
USC -6.5 @ California ---> California
Wisconsin +1 @ Minnesota ---> Hmmm. I'll go with Wisconsin
Florida State -5 @ BC --> This would be easy if I knew which FSU team would show up. x( I'll go with Florida State.

Tough week this week, Condem. Good job. :thumbsup:

I designed it to try and get fishwax into double figures in the win column. Just kiddin', fish. To me, the Wolves-Sparty match-up is the tough one. I figure it's MSU's last shot. They lose and you can cue Tom Izzo. A very solid seven games. FSU-BC is strictly there to rep the Big Least.
