1. Yeah, that's a hefty chunk of change even for a guy with an NFL salary.
Good on him

2. And He Said On The Mike McCarthy Show Tonight That It Wasn't That Much For What Needs To Be Done
Charles Woodson for MVP by the way. Forget the rest. He is as awesome on the field as he is off the field.

6. Preventing tds is just as important as scoring them...
...and C.Wood is the best at that (as I look through my green and gold glasses.)

...and he's awesome to donate all that money. I believe D.Driver makes huge donations in his Houston Community, too.

9. Mott is a cause very near and dear to Lloyd Carr's heart
The team has been helping them out for years, with carwashes, bracelets, etc. But nothing, to my knowledge, on this level.

Maybe I will post in GD.

11. Nice of him...
That is a significant donation and I hope the hospital can use the money to help children and their families.

OT: I still dont see how Woodson beat Peyton Manning for the Heisman.

12. Easy
Played both sides of the ball, had numerous interceptions, plus had an interception, a pass reception for a touchdown, and a punt return for a TD, all in the Ohio State game which capped an undefeated season, led Michigan to the Rose Bowl, and won a national championship.

Peyton played QB, that's all. But I know people in Tennessee still hate Michigan because of Woodson's Heisman.

13. Didn't Tenn have about 3 losses that year and they were pre-season #1?
That makes a big difference.
