1. They lost?
Again.

I'm taking a break after baby Jesus cried, and am watching Diners, Dives, and Drive-ins.

2. I'll say it is rebuilding
Because they lost Mark Sanchez, Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews, Rey Maualuga, and others to the draft. They are inexperienced this year and should be better next especially considering they have a solid quarterback going for and if Joe McKnight stays around for another year they should be good on offense. Plus they lost a very good running back Stafon Johnson this year to a weight lifting accident and he is a Senior. I hope he can play another year due to the medical hardship.

However their are other teams in the Pac 10 that is going to get better so it will be tough for USC to dominate like they have in the past.

5. True, but most teams go in cycles...they've been at the top for a while...
...longer than lots of teams...time will tell. And I wonder if Johnson will stay...depends on probably if he thinks he'll go high in the draft or whether it would be better to wait a year.

8. Most Importantly, USC Lost It Offensive Coordinator Who Now Coaches Washington
You cannot lose all that talent on the field and on the coaching staff in one season and still put out the same product.

3. 20$ says that they will still be ranked in the top 25. WTF?

6. Probably, if for no other reason there's no one out there to move
up...probably don't deserve it.

4. Perhaps they'll find it a little harder to get new talent with the NCAA watching
a little closer for recruiting violations.

7. USC had lost
8 defensive starters from 2008, Mark Sanchez, and their offensive and defensive coordinators....2009 was a year of transition. I suspect they'll look more like the old SC next season.

10. Eh...they'll still be ranked in the top 10 next year in the preseason
East coast bias, you know.
