I'll Take Alabama
I know I should not pick a winner at this point because I could turn out to be wrong. However, I think Alabama will beat Texas in this years national championship game. Texas barely beat Nebraska while Alabama trounced Florida. Alabama beat Florida by almost 20 points. Alabama's margin of victory could have been bigger if coach Nick Saban had not held his team back. At the end of the game it looked certain that Alabama would score again and then Saban began to let his quarterback take knees. So it seems to me that with Alabama pommeling Florida and Texas barely beating Nebraska Alabama should be able to beat Texas.

1. I'll take Texas
Alabama barely beat Tennessee at home needing a blocked kick so it seems Texas should win. I really don't know but I'm rooting for Texas to win it.

3. I mgiht go with Texas also, although neither should be in the title game.....
...the SEC refs gave that game (TN) to Bama so they could have two undefeateds in the SEC title game and ensure yet another over-rated team would get there. Cincy, TCU and Boise State could wallop both of them.

7. I'll just assume you're joking
either that or just badly mistaken...I mean, how many games would Cincinnati, TCU and Boise State lose in the SEC?

You don't get to go up against cupcakes like New Mexico St, Idaho, Utah St, UC Davis, Louisiana Tech, and Nevada (all of whom are on BSU's schedule) when you play in the SEC.

2. I'm in the enviable position of wanting both teams to win....
My son just graduated from 'Bama in May, and is now in grad school at Texas.

That being said, I think Alabama is the stronger team overall. McCoy is the better QB, but as far as overall team strength on both sides of the ball, the Tide has it, IMO.

However, either team winning is good by me.

5. I'll take the Tide, too.
Their defense is absolutely terrifying, and they have an awesome running game. Colt and company CAN win, but they have their work cut out for them.
