Well, I'll man up and say it: last night was the Favre the Packner fans were waiting for.

Grumble.

I still like the Vikings chances long term though. If only the Redskins could've made that damned kick....

2. Give due credit to the Cards as well.
They played the kind of defense that got them to the Super Bowl. They also did a hell of a job of shutting down the Vikes' pass rush. The Cardinals look to be getting hot at just the right time.

7. AZ is 7-2 in their last 9 games

The 2nd game they lost in that span was a game Leinart started so I say they've been pretty hot already.

3. The Vikings have had an incredibly easy schedule so far
They've only beaten one team that has a winning record. I'm not saying that they're not a good team, but I wouldn't classify them as world-beaters just yet.

4. LOL. I just realized
that I was watching Christmas movies and decorating shows last night and forgot that this game was on! I feel as if I let down the side. Does it count if Frank Gifford made an appearance on the celebrity decorating show?

I take it Minnie lost.

6. They held Peterson to about 20 rushing yards
I think overall they played good defense and they were throwing looks I haven't seen them show this year having Karlos Dansby playing safety on some plays(He's a linebacker). If this was Farve's worst game of the season then it wasn't that bad and is still having the best season of his career.

8. I'd agree with that.
The Vikings never got their rushing game in gear, and the play selection put Favre in 3rd and long way too often. THat's when he (and most other quarterbacks) get into trouble. All in all, I'd say it wasn't a horrific day for the Purple, they just played the second best football last night.
