my adviser once taught a course on the history of sex and had me put together a powerpoint presentation. He had me do it so that if I was offended by the pictures, I'd tell him to leave them out.



Then he gave me a book of Mapplethorpe. My husband (BF at the time) came home as I was scanning the images onto the computer and his face was just priceless. THe only image that was really over the top was a guy with a swastika carved into his forehead...and I won't go into any more details.
