1. I pick Cleveland!!!!

Actually, Cleveland is the team that's doing the best against the spread this year.

Having standings makes the home stretch a lot more fun.

Speaking of interest, I wish there was a little more riding on Mondays game. In any regard (and I hate to say it), the Cardinals will win, ending the 49ers hopes of a division title.

3. Picks
Oakland
Denver
Cincinnati
Jets
Buffalo
Green Bay
Atlanta
Baltimore
Jacksonville
Carolina
Houston
Tennessee
San Diego
Philadelphia
Arizona (5-1 on the road, 5-0 on the road with Warner as the starter)

Arizona/San Francisco should be good. If you recall last year on Monday Night against SF that game was rated the highest of all Cardinals games as the most exciting with the Super Bowl itself at #2. I'm sure you can appreciate the highlights. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQiCQL245tE

Fantasy question. How is SF playing against the run lately? Specifically against Forsett(Sea), Jones-Drew(Jax). I ask because I'm not sure whether to start Beanie Wells or not and it is the first round of the fantasy playoffs so I need to win!! :)

Things are definitely getting interesting. At least a half dozen intriguing matchups...Indy/Denver, Vikes/Cinci, Jax/Miami, Dallas/San Diego, ?Cards/SF, NE/Carolina. And I'm surprised the spread is that high in the Pats game. They're not playing that great at all and it's been a tumultuous week off the field. It's not panic time, but they have issues that need addressing.

I said at the start that 10-6 wins the AFC East this year, but it may not even have to be that good. The Pats have 3 road games to go and they haven't won one yet. I'll assume they win at least one and go 2-2 to finish at 9-7. That will force Miami to win three of four to tie or four of four to win outright, both a tall order with the schedule they have. I see them going 2-2 to finish as well. Not a lot of room for error for either team. Makes for a great finish. :)

7. Don't count the Jets out
They are 6-6 like Miami and while they were swept by Miami they split with New England and Tampa is a very winnable game for them. Should be an interesting 3-way race. :hi:

Just kidding, I agree. :)

It would be something if they somehow stole it. And that something would be sucky. x(

8. 10.5 might be too much for the Saints to cover
Edited on Fri Dec-11-09 01:57 PM by BOSSHOG
Their defensive backs contingent is banged up. Jabari Greer is out for at least one more week. Atlanta's offensive shortcomings might offset that.

9. Oooh Ryan unlikely to play
I did not consider that. Looks like I picked the wrong week to be gunning for the upset. I may change my pick later, I gotta think on this one.

23. Hey Jon
take the Saints next week if the Boys get nine or less. The dome will make a big difference and apparently December is worse on the Boys then Marie Lavou is on the Saints.

25. Congrats Condem!!
:toast:

Also congrats to your 49ers :toast:
I thought they may win but I didn't think the Cardinals would gift wrap it for them with turnovers at the 5 and the 10. Hopefully they can bounce back.
