Outside the lines- Fl State |
|
anyone watch outside the lines on Fl. State. They had this big discussion on rules infractions for football. As long as the NFL and the NBA uses it as their minor leagues this will happen. rarely, are their any infractions in baseball because their is a legitimate minor league system. Why should a perspective pro athlete be denied an opportunity? They should end the charade.

I guess my thoughts on it were:
1) I feel bad for the kids that get their athletic scholarships, and can't make it athletically beyond college football, because many of them end up with fluff degrees and learned nothing in school. And the schools don't give a damn about these athletes beyond football as long as they get some kind of degree to pump up their graduation totals.
2) As someone who tutored college athletes for a year and a half, I'll be the first to say the obvious: This is not exclusive to Florida State.
