go to 9-7 and just see what happens....if only we could have the Viking game back, maybe the Seattle game too...Niners would be right there.

2. They ate Kurt Warner UP! |
|
178 PaYd, 2 PaInt, 2 Fumbles - shit I thought Brenda Warner was in there.
I made my FFL playoffs tonight because my opponent at the VERY last moment swapped out Alex Smith for Kurt Warner. I had a 13 point lead. Warner got EIGHT fantasy points tonight.
Sweet. Playoffs.

Those turnovers inside their own territory hurt especially the one at the 5 and the one at 10. Cardinals RBs need to hold on to the ball. This is a weekly occurrence for them.

Score should have been 34-9. The 49ers offensive still has big holes in it. Still, a win is a win, especially against a team as good as the Cardinals.
Thanks JonLP. You'll still win the division (one you earned too).

According to the commentators Ken Whisenhut said they were lucky to be only down 17 at half.
Also Kurt Warner trusts Fitzgerald too much throwing deep into double and triple coverage and I don't know wtf he was looking at trying to drop the ball into Breaston on a cover 2.

The Cardinals can blowout the Vikings who have a futrue hall of famer QB yet get their butt's handed to them by the 49'ers.

13. Not strange if you turn the ball over 7 times |
|
Especially deep in 49ers territory. The 49ers did not score a single point off a possession gained by a kickoff or a punt. It was all points off turnovers.
They didn't turn the ball over 7 times against the Vikings.

It's just funny that they can play so well against a good team like the Vikings. Yet they play a mediocre team like the 49'ers and completly fall apart. Thier post season will be very short IMHO.

As someone who watched every game this season and last season they are much better this year. They are better on the defensive side of the ball, #1 in the NFL on 3rd down defense(30th last year). They also have more sacks this year then they had the entire season last year. The defense was the reason why they only lost by 15. 49ers scored touchdowns from possessions gained by the 5 and the 10 yard line. They also can actually run the ball this year. Last year they would run the ball on first down on the first play and they gain no yards and from there they would go pass heavy.
About the 49ers it took a 50 yard last second pass for the Vikings to beat them and they held Manning out of the endzone against the Colts and lost by 4. Give them an extra touchdown in several games and they would be 10-3 or 11-2. Also they just matchup well against Cardinals and have played them tough in every game for the last 3 years. In 2007 they would be 10-6 if it wasn't for the 49ers but they finished 8-8.
Anyways we'll see but if you ask me this team is much better especially on the defensive side of the ball and the running game.
