Kimbo! and a prediction
kimbo slice vs. houston alexander at the ultimate heavyweight finale.

first, i liked the way that they gave him a catchweight fight. if kimbo is smart (and imo he is), he will fight at light heavy. he doesn't have the frame to fight heavy. he could be the tyrannosaurus of the light heavies vs. a heavyweight where he would be dwarfed by much larger framed fighters.

his ground game was frigging awesome. for a guy that is a beginner MMA fighter, who was criticized for just being a street brawler- those were some of the sickest throws i have ever seen.

houston alexander ran away from kimbo the entire fight, and imo embarassed himself. josh rosenthal should have warned alexander and penalized him if necessary for doing that. big mistake on the ref's part imo.

my prediction? if kimbo goes as a light heavy, he will be a top contender for the light heavy title within a year.

mark my words :)

2. ya that is a factor
doctors these days can do wonders, but that's a chronic condition that's hard to deal with.

i also forgot to mention that, while it's true he got knocked out first round of the Ultimate heavyweight show, he got knocked out by the guy who ended up winning the whole thing, and was never challenged in any of his fights.

i kind of like big country, too. just for being a rulon gardner type of athlete. looks like a fat lump of crap, but is a brilliant athlete. that's very kewl and goes against the opposite extreme, guys like the (newly fit) frank mir, who looks adonis like . not to slag mir, he is one of my favorite fighters, and a master at jiu jitsu. i'm just sayin' there's room for a fat fuck in the UFC, and big country certainly qualifies ! :)
