What The Saints mean to New Orleans ....
http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1520929307?bctid=56861352001

Fans line the streets to greet the Saints home last Sunday night ...

I recognize the route - not far from where I used to live.

1. Couldn't happen for a better city.
Here's hoping, hope. Not a Saints fan but what a story it would make.

Green Bay might have a place in football fans hearts, but NO touches even more than sports fans. I know plenty of people who don't care that much about football but love the Saints story..

6. What this season has done to uplift
the people of New Orleans is wonderful - they had stood by this team for years and after Katrina, they need all the good vibes they can get. My husband spoke to one of his brothers there yesterday and he said that there is a feeling of renewal - a good thing for an area that is seeing little progress in the rebuilding efforts.

5. It's why I can't really root against them.
Though 18-1 would be worth a few chuckles.
