Mike Holmgren has agreed to become the president of the Cleveland Browns, the team announced Monday.

"We are pleased to announce that Mike Holmgren has agreed to join the Cleveland Browns," owner Randy Lerner said in a statement. "We will spend the rest of the week finalizing the details of the agreement."

Lerner said the team would make the announcement formal with his signing next week.

Holmgren's decision could directly impact (current coach Eric) Mangini, who improved to 3-11 in his first season with Cleveland as the Browns beat the Kansas City Chiefs 41-34 on Sunday behind record-breaking performances by running back Jerome Harrison and kick returner extraordinaire Josh Cribbs.

3. He has a ton of money
and he had to meet w/ a delegation of pissed off fans last month ..... after that he told Eric to play Brady even tough it
will cost him a lot of money too.

I do like the offensive and defensive coordinators though.
