Cowboys sign ex Redskin placekicker Suisham
The Dallas Cowboys cut placekicker Nick Folk on Monday and replaced him with Shaun Suisham, a former Cowboy.

Suisham previously kicked for Dallas in 2005 and 2006. He was released by Washington on Dec. 8 after missing a key kick - the same problem that cost Folk his job Monday.

------

Suisham was released by the Redskins in great part after he missed a short field goal against New Orleans, which rallied to win in overtime.

This is an upgrade? With Romo holding and Suisham kicking, this has fun for Cowboy haters written all over it.

1. Suisham has been very good for the most part
A couple bad games as a kicker will get you fired.

you are a Cowboy hater, upton. Admitting that you are a hater is the first step in recovery.

4. ...
I assume you are referring to DC being in disarray??

No, I don't think it will be a blow out.

5. They got to make their run now.
The Cowboys have also found a formula that works in a playoff run: a balanced and aggressive passing and running attack, which means scoring early and often. They've been striving for this all year, but injuries and poor execution and play calling have hampered them.

With the talent Dallas has, there is no reason they shouldn't represent the NFC.

34-17, Dallas over Washington

6. I'm not so sure, mix.
I'm thinking more like 16-13 Dallas. It's always a nasty game with the Deadskins.

7. Yeah, they always give Dallas a difficult fight.

But there's blood in the water. I think (and hope and pray) that the Cowboys will start rolling. It all clicked in NO, that was no fluke, but the coming together of a team after only flashing its potential in prior games.

I'm optimistic, but optimism in sports can also humble you when it all goes south.

The Eagles no doubt will be tough.
