Who will be the AP Athlete of the NEXT decade?

1. I've yet to figure out

why an Athlete of the Decade has been named when there is still a year left in the decade. Its like TV specials listing the Deaths of important people during the year before the year is over.

2. just seems to be one of those quirks we have

people like to see the numbers roll over from 9999 to 10000.

10000 rolling over to 10001 doesn't seem that interesting to people, lol. :shrug:

if he stays away from injury, 10 years from now will be looked upon as one of the most dominant pitchers in all of ML history..

I do think it will be a baseball player. Hopefully not a Yankee, though. Maybe Hanley Ramirez. He's gonna turn out to be a great all around player.
