It's depressing waking up to a rainy Christmas morn in Iowa. Not much as far as sports, today. An NFL game tonight. I hope others plan on dropping by the ye old sports forum to spread holiday cheeer!

12. Thanks and Same To You!

We went over to where my mom lived (she died in November) and we still had our family Christmas Eve thing. About 18 folks, i think. My wife and i (and the doggie) stayed there and drove home this morning. The rest of the family lives within about 5 miles of there!

Chicken tortellini soup, ham sandwiches, beef sandwiches, big ass shrimp, sushi, and lots of sweets. I think everyone had fun. I know i did!

A day without much sports and cold weather (it might snow again) means that I'll be in the kitchen.

Gotta use my new Cuisinart waffle iron and then make prime rib with shrimp cocktails and eat some of my traditional smoked oysters (now from China? - uh, oh).
