Moore throws 3 TDs, Panthers embarrass Giants 41-9
:wtf:

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.(AP) Matt Moore and the Carolina Panthers turned the New York Giants ' farewell to Giants Stadium into one of their ugliest moments in franchise history.

Playing in front of Lawrence Taylor - possibly their greatest player - and knowing they still had a shot at a fifth straight playoff berth, the Giants (8-7) embarrassed themselves against the Panthers, a team with nothing at stake. Moore threw three touchdown passes, Jonathan Stewart rushed for a career-best 206 yards and the Panthers (7-8) shredded New York's defense with scores on six of their first seven possessions in a 41-9 victory before a disgusted final sellout crowd Sunday.

The Giants' postseason chances are microscopic. After stating the season 5-0, New York would have to beat Minnesota next week and hope Dallas lost its final two games, starting on Sunday night against Washington.

Can you say wishful thinking? Giants fans are skeptical: After booing their defense most of the day, many left the stadium well before the game ended.

Nice to see the G-Men fall, but man, Philadelphia looks good.

3. I loves me my Matt Moore
I never got a chance to meet him when he was at OSU, but I did cheer for him every week (except the first two, when he looked like shit). Glad to see a Beaver kicking ass in the NFL

5. Isn't it something to see him hand off to Jonathan Stewart?
you know, THE DUCK?

And being happy that he goes for 200 fouckin' yards on the day?

I stood in line behind Derek Anderson at the Hollywood video one time. That reminded me why no one
ever asked me to play college football(at any level). He was/is a quarterback and is huge.

Canfield is next Beav QB to The League. Hopefully he won't be so underrated as Moore and DA.

(although DA can really suck sometimes, :-) )

Go Beavs!

6. It is confusing to cheer for Stewart, that's for sure.

I know a couple of this year's linemen and let me tell you, after being around them I'm glad I don't suit up and have to try and hit people as big as they are.

I'm afraid that Canfield will not do well in the NFL, he has a lot of upsides but I don't think he has what it takes to get a good starting job.

However, I said Sammie was too small for the league, but he seems to defy all the odds, so who knows.

Go Beavs

8. It's never easy to get a starting job at QB in the NFL
unless you are a high draft pick on a shit team.

Canfield has the chances though. He gets to play in the Senior bowl and has had the Pac-10 QB 1st team award. Moore and DA never had that.

I do think he deserved to be called the best in the Pac-10. Locker? pfft. Luck? maybe next year. Barkley? Buahahahaha! See you in Reser, Son!

Anyway, Canfield will be better rated than DA or Moore when he comes in. He'll probably not go first round. Who knows where he ends up, but he could be first round talent in the end.

Like Moore.

7. The Panthers win doesn't surprise, the blowout does
Panthers run the ball as well as any team in the league and they have a top 1O defense.

However my point is Matt Moore. If you go back to his first start he has completed 63% of his passes for 828 yards an impressive 8.O4 YPA. Also 7 touchdowns to 1 interceptions. I can't predict the future but I have feeling Delhomme is done at Carolina with Moore as the future.

10. Consecutive beatdowns of Vikes and Giants...
I'm starting to come around to the idea the Delhomme was the problem.
