1. did U see the opening kickoff?
they ran a reverse, the guy who got the ball ran a big U shaped return. I thought that was kinda funny.

I guess power beat speed last night, once they knocked cooper a the QB out and #28 got knocked snotless, the badgers took control. Just like Happyiowan said in the bowl pick-em thread!

2. Wow, are you for real? Cooper knocked himself out when it was 17-7 Wisconsin
That was at the end of the first half. Wisconsin gained control a lot earlier than you gave them credit for.

3. I thought he got crushed on a few earlier plays than the injury
The Wisco defense was knocking the shit out of everybody who touched the ball> I think #28 was in the huddle going--Oh lord dont call my play

5. I'm not a fan of Big Ten football
but any game that disappoints DU's resident amateur detective :eyes: is alright by me.

Really a poor effort by Miami..I mean, they just got pushed around like they were high school kids. Is that the same Wisconsin defense I watched Fresno State, plus 3 other teams, put up over 30 points on?

Canes must have been overrated...similar to the Dolphins.

7. Bret B, UW head coach puts alot of planning into bowl games
according to our resident sage, Condem. With these non BCS Bowl games, its all about preparation, IMO.

Miami had the reverse on the kickoff, which worked, and then there first play was a double pass which didn't. It seemed like that was all they had after that. Their QB was injured and probably should not have been out there

I've never professed to be a detective, amateur or otherwise.

I do like the way you stand up for your wittle buddy though...it's sooo cute.

14. I'm always amazed
at how you can break away from stroking douche one to type your dribble. Dribble on your face, Dribble in your words.

Now hurry back and take the handcuffs off of Douche one so he can pee.

6. Citrus Bowl turf
was in pretty poor shape last night. I am trying to recall if we had a deluge in these parts lately. Maybe it got tore up in high school games? either way it was shoddy and may have contributed to cooper's injury.

There's another game coming up next week LSU/PennSt

The citrus bowl as a whole is pretty run down& showing its age.

12. Canes were slipping all over the place...
Their equipment guy should be canned.

Harris looked awful last night. The dude missed on several opportunities for easy touchdowns. Is it the Freshman jinx/wall? Who knows.

Oh well--- they were a big improvement from last season and hopefully they continue to get better.

13. He was sacked 5 times and he was rushed many more times
Edited on Wed Dec-30-09 01:10 PM by JonLP24
I think the pressure got to him and the one series he did score on Wisconsin didn't bring the pressure and Harris picked them apart. I'm just going from what I saw, Harris will get better I think.

15. Dude had 17 int's going into the game...
I think he's big time gun shy. He needs to trust his receivers and let it fly.

Nah---the entire team was flat as a pancake last night and Wisconsin brought it. BTW: The Badgers are a damn good team.

Like I said--- Next season....

18. I feel sorry for the LSU and Penn State players.
The field looked worse than a high school practice field after a scrimmage in the rain, and they have to play at this dump on Friday.

I was watching a replay of one of them and flipping back to the Wisconsin game - same field! Too funny.

16. The Badgies did the Big Ten proud.
Except for the dramma at the end, not even close. I got so wrapped up in it, I forgot The Kennedy Honors featuring Mr. Springsteen. Congrats, Bucky. Well done.

23. Well, we'll see what happens tomorrow
Big Ten and SEC go head-to-head, back-to back. Northwestern vs. Auburn: neither team was expected to do anything, yet here they are. Penn State vs. LSU: both were close to making it to the BCS.

A great comeback comes up just short. Remember - 8 point 'dogs. The Big Ten looks MUCH better than last year.
