that any promoter would put him in the ring. He has shown the classic symptoms of brain damage for several years. To show how far the parasites in boxing will go, they create a "title" ....one not to be confused with any taken even slightly seriously within the sport of boxing.

3. it's also...an EEO Right? |
|
How did he perform, in his most recent fights?
Did he look like near-50 yr-old man, out there, just totally embarrassing himself?
If not...then should he NOT be given a fair chance to do what he loves?
People quickly forget sometimes that the *love of sport* played, for Evander's whole life;
...sometimes overrides money aspect, which those who don't have any-----are always quick to harp on.
Peace

4. Holyfield's last victory |
|
of any significance came in November of 1997. It could be that his belief that God desires for him to re-unite the heavyweight titles is a reality-based concept. Or, it could be evidence that he is incapable of making reality-based decisions regarding his safety, and that those who are willing to make money off his delusional belief system are without conscience.

when he beat Tillman. He said he'd never seen a boxer with the kind of laser focus that Holyfield had. It didn't matter what Tillman did, the ref, nothing. Holyfield just stayed right on Tillman and executed his plan. It is tragic to see this happen to such brilliant fighters, over and over again.

when Evander ranked among the best in the heavier weight classes. Certainly not at the top of the heavyweight division, but at his best, he would have been a competitive fight for almost anyone. The use of steroids puts an * on some of his career, though.
Tillman was a very talented fighter. Heck of an amateur, who wasn't quite able to translate to the championship level in the professionals. And it was because of a few guys, such as Evander, who benefitted from his concentration (as your husband correctly noted), as well as Duva and Benton's ability to bring out his potential. In many ways, I consider his first fight with Qawi his best effort. Dwight had been taught by my friend Rubin in Rahway, and he was as tough a fighter as any at the time he fough Evander. That fight ranks with the best of that era.

It would be ugly. Really ugly. I do not think that either of the Klitschko brothers would want to have that on their conscience.

If both were in their primes, I'd go with The Real Deal over Vitali.

Evander in his prime would have decisioned Vitali, and TKOed Wladimir.
