Anyone know why the Insight Bowl is on NFL Network?

I was looking for it on TV guide because I'm interested in Bowl games played at Sun Devil Stadium but I couldn't find it listed. I go to the website and it's said to be on NFL Network.

This doesn't make a lot of sense to me to be on a channel that's for the NFL. VS another channel I don't have would make more sense.

That is why I brought up Versus which is an extra channel I have to pay for.

NFL Network just seems kinda odd to showcase a college game. :)

I think they've broadcast the Texas Bowl before, too, but not this year. And they're doing this year's Senior Bowl, according to an ad I just saw. Diversifying their product, I guess :shrug:

Incidentally, Iowa State just scored a TD to go up 7-3.

I don't remember watching a lot of Bowl Games last year and the years before that I rarely caught a bowl game since the 'O4 Bowl Games so I was out of the loop.

to show the game. That's the reason any game is on any particular station.
