Congratulations Boise State! 2009 National Champions!
Without the obvious interference of the refs, both Alabama and Texas would have one loss...clearly the game Thursday means nothing...yet again. Nice job, Broncos!!!!

3. Lack of a playoff is killing my interest in college football.
Once the locals get a loss (UCLA) or two (USC), the season's basically over.

4. Eespecially when the SEC refs are on the take and bend over backwards
to make sure they get at least one undefeated team at the end of the season, so the writers, who know nothing, and get all giggly over any SEC team, will essentially hand them another undeserved title.

9. And
The great looking cheerleaders, awesome tailgating, best uniforms and stadiums in the country. Lots to get all giggly about Joey.

And make sure you get up to Fayetteville and check out the Hog Trophy Case in Walton Arena. That Liberty Bell is gonna fit in real nice.

And the next time you are at a retail outlet and your purchases get scanned think Arkansas Razorbacks. The scanner was developed at UA. Each and every time you buy anything from now on you will be thinking Wooo Pig Soooieee..

5. That would be nice - in my ideal world we'd eliminate any thought of
a 'national champion' and just go back to the traditional conference-vs-conference bowls. A playoff might be interesting, but it would need to include a lot of games (like basketball) to be reasonably meaningful - college football would stretch into February...

8. You could start with 16 teams and run playoffs over four weekends and be
done by early January. Not a big deal, as it is dragged out until early January now.

11. Winter Wackiness similar to March Madness
January Jocularity??? I think most people would be happy with eight teams. Of course there would have to be at least two automatic bids for the SEC, everybody else can fight for the scraps.

19. I like the idea of Boise State and Utah joining the Pac-10, and making it the Pac-12.
Also, they should let TCU join the Big 12 and kick out Baylor or some other irrelevant team. I ask, why the hell do Texas and TCU not play each other every year? Seems like it could be an awesome rivalry...

7. So Boise State
did not benefit from one good/bad call all year? And could you be specific about the bad/good calls for Alabama and Texas? And did the teams they were playing get nothing but bad calls against them? Video evidence will be accepted.

SEC West - 3 and 1 in bowl games with one to go.

Oh, and one more question. Who's gonna get the officiating breaks? Texas or Alabama? I'd like a quick answer so I can put some money on the game.

13. Alabama beat Tenn directly due to bad officiating...
...how about the refs giving Texas an early christmas present of a whole second so they could kick that winning field goal when clearly there was no time left on the clock. All teams get good/bad calls...these two teams were dIRECTLY given victories they should not have had.

16. I'll grant that McCoy was clueless on that last throwing play. However,
When you watched the replay against the game clock, the ball clearly hit the ground with 1 second left. Almost 2 if you count when it actually went out of bounds.

17. No Joey you are painfully wrong
Nothing would have made me happier then Nebraska beating Texas but there was one second left on the clock. The refs didn't give Texas anything.

Could ya give us more stuff, I think they call it proof that "these two teams were dIRECTLY given victories they should not have had."

Your subject line reads as if Cboy4 wrote it. Joey. Are you Cboy4?

But I have to hand it to ya, if it weren't for the officials Arkansas DID beat Florida. Check the tape.

18. I'm still curious
how the officiating gave Alabama the Tennessee game.

I do agree with you, by the way. The refs did indeed play a role in both teams' making undefeated. By making the correct calls.
