I owe you an apology. As a Georgia Bulldog fan, I should have immediately congratulated and sincerely thanked you for humbling the North Avenue Trade School. After we upset them in basketball, the thrashing that the Hawkeyes handed them in the Orange Bowl meant that wickedness had been completely oppressed, even if for just one night. And your coach calling them Wake Forest was beautiful. I mean BEAUTIFUL. I'm sure that all 14 GT fans who made it to the Orange Bowl were pissed.

1. Just spotted this, GaYellowDawg. |

My bad. I get a kick out of the spinmeisters saying Iowa had a month to prepare for the Triple Option. Didn't GT have a month to prepare for us? Not the first to underestimate the Hawks. A lot on this board did. For sure. I'll respectfully disagree with you and say that we can play with anybody in the country. Even with Stanzi giving away a TD. Our D is that good. Thanks for the kind words. It was a full out ass-kicking and should not of been that close. I hear GT is still making excuses. Nerves and all. They were cocky as hell. Not a very smart team, are they?

2. No problem. I posted late. |

The cockiness comes straight from their coach, who is convinced that his offense is the absolute apotheosis of football offense, that it is pure genius, and is absolutely unstoppable. The guy actually said that if Georgia didn't beat him the first year he was there, that we never would. Whoops. It's also a reaction to them knowing right down to their rotten little cores that they will always take second place in their own state. And no, they're not a very smart team, even if they think they're Ivy League under the helmets and Notre Dame under the pads.

3. The problem with GT's offense is simple. |

As long as they can't pass they can be stopped. Throw in an elite passer and that O could be impossible to stop. Proud of my Hawks. Makes this cold ass winter a little easier to bear.
