2. Their game plan was buy off the refs in the TN game so they could
get a shot like this.

12. Do a search...I'm too lazy today...
...it was a specific call that led to a score...not just nebulous bad calls...like Texas getting an extra second to kick their field goal over Nebraska.

40. Texas didn't get an extra second
and I'm waiting for the bad call in the TN game. And a complete review of all calls made for or against TN. Maybe you need some rest Joey. Maybe an institution in the Bear Bryant Rest Home for Wayward Fans of Wayward Programs.

how pathetic of you...sorry you didn't like the outcome. perhaps you should focus more on sports like table tennis where people are less likely to get injured.

17. right...cause obama is big and mean
and so is nancy pelosi...harry reid...the rest of the congressional democratic caucus...interesting mindset you have. your comment about the 'game plan' of Alabama and how it reminds you who gets to make the rules is laughable. i would wager that not one young man on that field gets to make any rules and likely will not. most of them will go on to regular jobs...a few will go pro and have a very short career...a few will have good careers in the pros...all the while not making the rules. what a fucking stupid thing for you to post...go cry about some sport you can draw a valid analogy with...

27. Texas' QB got injured by a fairly routine tackle by Bama standards.
Edited on Fri Jan-08-10 07:42 PM by piedmont
Alabama's QB was playing with two fractured ribs. None of the players on the field made the rules-- they just played by them.

34. I don't know....
...but the Longhorns may have as a team a better grade point average than the Crimson Tide. Perhaps they should have simply compared the two, and crowned the national champion. Now that would have been exciting. Thanks.

36. Hell, why compare the whole teams' GPAs?
Just compare those of the two starting quarterbacks.
Might come out more crimson than orange, though. Apparently, McElroy has been invited to apply for the Rhodes Scholarship.

37. what a stupid comment
McCoy was injured by a clean hit. I'm sorry that he was injured, and I wish he had not been. But there was nothing dirty, in the slightest, in that hit. Football is a rough game.

I was watching from far away but the Texas backup QB outplayed the Bama starter and yet, lo and behold, The SEC Rep still kicked ass. For the fourth year in a row.
