GO PACK GO! Who was sitting in the booth with Jerry Jones last night?
some monkey? Congrats to the cowboys for the win. Fuck you Freepy Jones.

I am so glad the Packers dont have a wealthy owner. I am proud to say I own a share. I am also glad to say that one of our icons, Vince Lombardi, was a hardcore Kennedy Democrat. Bart Starr might be a freeper, but at least he will autograph anything you send him as long as you donate to a charity.

The Green Bay Packers, win or lose, are truly America's team. Bratwurst, cheese, beer, frozen tundra, guards pulling on a power sweep, fish fries on fridays, tailgating, every game sold out for decades, a waiting list for season tickets of over 70,000. 12 National Championships, the Lombardi trophy. Blue collar fans who make something everyone needs when they are not bowling, ice fishing, deer hunting or bar hopping: toilet paper.

Story from this week: Charles Woodson ( 3/4's of the Earth is covered by water, he covers the rest) was being interviewed for a media bio piece in Green Bay. He was out in public and some fans came up to say: we dont want an autograph or anything, we just wanted to say we respect the way you play football. Mr Woodson went on to say he wants to be remembered as a Green Bay packer

1. Hi from a fellow shareholder!
And avid lifelong Packers fan. True story: Several years ago, I applied to get on the season tickets waiting list. They sent me a statement saying that I would be eligible in...2056. Well, since there's a very good chance I'll be dead by then, I said no thank you. And as far as Mr. (should be mvp) Charles Woodson is concerned, it's great to hear him say that he wants to be remembered as a Packer. Better than the former qb of this team. And Woodson donated around $2,000,000 of his own money to a children's hospital in the Green Bay area if I'm not mistaken. I know these guys make a ton of money, two mil is still a signifigant amount of coin. So to echo your excellent post! GO PACK GO!!

3. It was a children's research hospital in Michigan
Saving lives, and getting jobs, in Michigan, is reason alone for him to be MVP this year.

Our family tickets we've had for decades, since 1969. My old man has willed them to me. I wont be able to go to all the games, I'll let you sit there for face value Bluzmann. Word to the wise: Jerry, the guy that sits to the right in Section 7, evry time the Packers score you have to do a shot of schnapps. One game against Detroit, the whole 4th quarter was a blur

5. Thanks.
I'll keep you in mind next season. And as far as the liquor is concerned, we'll see. I tend to get a bit rowdy and may well get ejected from the temple known as Lambeau Field. Also, I live in Iowa so there is a matter of getting home.
And thank you for the clarification on Woodson's charitable gift. I'm ready for this afternoon's game. Once again, GO PACK!

7. I'm a Cowboys fan (live here) but I am pissed off at the organization
For even letting that stupid a$$hole into the stadium. Oh well, I'm sure every team has some fans they'd rather not have.

As far as the Packers go, their ownership is something I wish weren't unique. Fans not only feel more a part of what's going on, they also help protect themselves against some deep pockets gambler buying their team and moving it away.

I would be more than happy to be rid of Jones!
