I am now an Official Saints Bandwagoneer. |
|
God help me.:scared:
Are there any Bandwagoneer Rules of Decorum which I should ignore?

2. I'd like to see them win. |
|
A solid team in a solid community that needs any boost they can get. I think a Super Bowl win would mean more to them than any other team.

7. I get the city in repair thing, |
|
and realize I'm going to sound like a dink, but I am a 43-year-old lifelong Vikings fan and I cannot express what a Super Bowl win would mean to Viking fans.

8. That's the beauty of sports! |

More often than not more than one team deserves the championship. I won't feel bad seeing you guys get it either. :)
Fuck it, the Bears and the Pats are out..... ;)

Sorry, the rules state that you're not allowed to pull for a team that's not in your home city, unless you have a damn good reason.
State your case and make it compelling.
I don't know how this rule applies to New York since they have more than one NFL team.

This is a football crazy town. And I've followed them since the great Mike Buck was their back-up QB. They've suffered long enough.

9. I never changed it when I came down for my 90 day assignment two years ago, lol! |

I suppose I should, but Nashville is still my legal residence. I don't want to give the IRS any ideas. I know they're all over the DU!

11. Yeah I guess I'll root for em now |
|
I'm a Steelers fan primarily (a duh given my screen) and have a fondness for the Packers from my time living in Wisconsin...Don't know what else to do really besides throw my support behind the Saints.
Can't root for the Ravens obviously. Peyton Manning is a douche. The Chargers are just a non-team to me, and the Jets... well I can't root for any New York team ever. Then on the other side obviously I can't root for the Vikings both because the Packers are my secondary team, and my mother in law loves the Vikings because she had a crush on Fran Tarkenton back in the day... so that's not happening. Dallas, no thanks I'd rather choke, and I have nothing against the Cardinals, but they had their shot, and Kurt Warner is a douche.
So there ya go.
Go Saints, I guess.
