Reggie Bush Says "How You Like Me Now?!?"
Edited on Sun Jan-17-10 07:29 AM by ProfessorGAC
Well, he didn't say it, but i'm pretending he did.

He just took over that game yesterday. When healthy, he's a game changer from anywhere on the field.

Questions about whether he actually "got" the NFL game would seem to have been put to rest yesterday.

1. LOL
First off--- Jim Brown could have come out of retirement yesterday and ran for a buck fifty against the Cardinals defense.

Reggie was healthy for 14 games of this season and only ran for 390 yards.

Let him play a couple of consecutive games like he did yesterday before announcing that he's all that because up until yesterday--- he's been a pretty big bust.

2. I have to agree
to an extent. As the OP pointed out he did have a great game last night and he's had a few signs of flash throughout his time in NOLA, but mostly not. I was hoping they'd trade him in the preseason for a defensive back. He's a nice to have kinda guy, but the Saints wouldn't be hurting without him. He did put a whupping on the Hogs a few years ago.

3. He didn't get a lot of carries in those 14 games
which is why he would only have that many yards.

Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell get the most of the carries.

Anyways whenever I see Bush play he does amazing thing especially on special teams.

4. Which is a sign they don't have a lot of confidence in him.

7. that's their bad not Bush's
Might be a reason they haven't gone anywhere before this season. They've never given him a decent chance. He's a young kid still learning the game. My bet is he'll be a superstar pretty soon. Maybe with another team if NO doesn't wake up.

Who dat say Reggie Bush don't have skillz?

6. He's a young, talented player
The 390 yards was off of just 70 carries which is an impressive 5.6 YPC. 84 yards off of 5 carries is an example of the kind of year he is having. Very productive on just a few touches a game. He is also used a lot as a receiver. He gets a lot of receptions and receiving yards for a running back even years prior and is an excellent punt returner. I believe he had 2 returns for touchdowns in one game last season.

He's only 24 so he still has a lot of years left.
