MILWAUKEE - (KRT) - Imagine where the Los Angeles Dodgers would be if they were at full strength.
No, wait. Don't bother. It couldn't be much better.
The Dodgers increased their record to 10-2 - the best start in baseball and the best getaway by a Dodgers team since the 1955 world champions went 11-1 - by beating the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-3, on Monday night at Miller Park.
All this with closer (Eric Gagne), left fielder (Jayson Werth) and two other pitchers (Brad Penny and Wilson Alvarez) on the disabled list since the start of the season.
"I go back to what I've been saying all along (about the off-season changes) - people want to talk about what's missing," Dodgers outfielder Milton Bradley said. "But what's here is pretty good."
http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/sports/11428741.htmThis game was damn near tied in the 7th -- before Bradley did his thing again . . . These guys are amazing to watch so far this year. the wheels could come off the wagon tomorrow, but it has been a jaw-dropping couple of weeks.
