Poll question: How much will the Colts be favored in the Super Bowl? |
|
Edited on Sun Jan-24-10 10:40 PM by El Supremo
The Saints didn't win the NFC Championship. The Vikings lost it.

1. It depends on where the money goes |
|
but I'll say a 1 1/2 or lower for either team.

5. That's the standard line, -5 |
|
It's between -4.5 and -5.5 but the majority of books are using -5.
At the end of the postgame show the jackass on FOX Sports quoted Harrah's and their opening -3.5. There's a reason we call Harrah's, "The Gift Shop." The Super Bowl price is always adjusted toward the team that looked better in the conference titles games. Even if someone likes the Saints there's no way to rush out and take +3.5.

And the reason there's a spread is to take money from folks like you who are so sure of themselves. ;-)

20. Yeah, didn't the Vikings |
|
get like close to 500 total yards, and the Saints were around 230 total yards or so. Manning is a lot more disciplined than Farve will ever be, and I doubt he will make mistakes...
If the Saints win, I agree with what other posters have stated, they will have to play a perfect game, and catch the Colts making a couple mistakes. I will be rooting for the Saints, but if I had money on this game(which I don't), it would be on the Colts.
